Thank you, Tom! I put a lot of thought into both speeches, and how they defined some of the differences between Chase and Allie. The scene with Diane is based on interviews I did with people who were students at Harvard during that time , and very much reflects what they told me. Ric, Love it. I don't mean to make myself a bore and comment on every part...but....Chase's speech at the begining sums up the Iraq War beautifully (and Vietnam?). Allie hits it right on the head...the poor and the minorities go to the Army the wealthy and priveleged go to Harvard. The incident with Diane is handled well and in my opinion, realistically.
